How long is it till August 12? I don't think I can wait that long.

On the other hand, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on Friday. Okay, I lie. I watched it last night because my will power completely caved and my brother had a pirate version. I do, of course, blame my brother entirely for my lack of will power. The oompa loompas are very very irritating, but Johnny Depp, for a change, is a complete revelation. Willy Wonka is, indeed, very sinister. I liked. I'd have liked it more without the oompa loompas bursting into song every 30 seconds. Meh.

But The Island is what I'm looking forward to, for reasons other than TWO EWANS ON SCREEN AT ONCE! Yes. There are other reasons. I'm sure there are. No, but seriously. My need to see The Island arose BEFORE the Ewan fangirl in me did. Really.

Also... BIRTHDAY ON SUNDAY! Yes, yours truly will be 22 this coming Sunday. Y'all should give generously. HEE! And on August 13 I'm going to see Guys and Dolls and I can't wait for that either. w00t!!

I hear you on the Oompa Loompas....

I would have LOVED the movie, had it not been for the way they were done.

I think I'm still scarred from watching it. They disturbed me so.

And some ass decided it would be a good movie to take his 3 year olds to. Not the case, the little one beside me had her eyes covered for most if it. It broke my heart!

*blinks* Deffinitely not a flick I'd take a small child to see. Christ, it'd scare the holy living HELL out of you. As I guess the little girl beside you proved. Very sinister, but I'd recomend it. Well worth seeing, despite the irritating small people. I didn't like the oompa loompas in the musical version a whole bunch, but at least I didn't want to kill them. Much. And that's what I did want to do in this one. Much. But still, the Great Glass Elevator more than made up for it. Yes, yes it did.

I want to see C&TCF. But I don't think that will be possible for two weeks or so. *le sob*

I couldn't give generously (as I'm skint) but I have sent a card which may arrive early. :)

Well, I can reveal that it's very very good, but would be better without the oompa loompas. Merf. Madagascar is also very good, and for cheesy popcorn FUNFUNFUN, Fantastic 4 is worth a look. :)

AND SQUEE BIRFDY CARD! I ♥ you, you know that, right?

Fankoo. The big day draws closer and now I'm terrified of being old. I blame Jen, since she's not here to defend herself. Being this sweet takes effort. ;)

And Depp is fantastic. I'm in awe. I'll have to see it on the big screen tho, because my brother's copy - well, the picture keeps falling off the screen. Heh!
